Recent Events
At the recent AGM, it was mentioned that this site had
not been kept up to date. For this I apologise. However, I must
add that on numerous occasions I have requested articles, comments and even
general ramblings to help keep the site fresh and interesting. None
have been forthcoming. This site is for the supporters and as such I
would hope that the supporters would want to contribute. Please,
please send anything you would like published to the
webmaster and (if it is suitable) I
will publish it here. I cannot run this without your support and it
would be such a shame the site to be closed due to lack of interest and
support.

The book is not just for Montrose FC supporters but for anyone and everyone.
The names of players such as Kerrigan, Webster and cult hero of the “knoll”
Barry Donnachie are not household names but it is only when you support a
“lower division team” that these names may mean something and from there a
love grows!
If you follow Scottish football you will know just how little coverage teams
from the lower divisions receive from the media. This book gives fans a
chance to relive their season, a season that in the end gave one of the most
exciting finishes to the league and a season that ended in disappointment
for most as the new promotion play-off ruling put paid to most hopes as a
team that was relegated was in fact finally promoted! A first, which could
only happen in Scotland!
