For Fans Travelling to Links Park Montrose Football Club Supporters Club members have been lucky enough to enjoy wonderful hospitality from clubs (and local pubs!) when they travel to away games. In the past, we at Montrose have been unable to offer the same hospitality to the travelling away support. However, the committee of the MFC Supporters Club have been in discussions with the MFC Board recently in order to make arrangements to offer reciprocal hospitality to our official visiting Supporters Club members. We were pleased to welcome 42 of the East Fife supporters to the Claridges Lounge on Saturday 29th April 2006 for the last game of the season. Please read their comments below!
I would like to
pass on my sincere thanks to your supporters' club and the football club for
the hospitality shown at the game yesterday. I don't just mean the pies and
the service in the room we were in either!
The value for money is second to none and every member of
staff/volunteer was a credit to the club. The common sense shown by Tony and
the rest of the stewards was something that the protestors haven't seen to
date and I would be grateful if you could pass on my apprectiation to him.
We look forward to seeing you again next season and can only
pray for the day where the EFST are in a position to afford you the same
kindness in return!

Dear Chairman
I have never done
this before but I feel I must write on behalf of the many East Fife supporters
who attended the match on Saturday 29th April 2006.
We had come to
enjoy the football, make our views known to our board and generally have a
good day out.
With the help of
your staff and the Montrose Supporters Club these objectives were all
achieved.
We certainly must
single out your stewards and Tony in particular who made a point of talking to
us before the game and advising what was and was not acceptable.
During the game
Tony kept a fair eye on us and stewarded in an exemplary fashion. You and your
board's direction on this and the other matters which made our trip to
Montrose an excellent away day need to be appluaded and we take this
opportunity to do so.

We have to arrange staff and stock for the Claridges Lounge and it is not possible to do this on the day of the game. We would appreciate a couple of days notice of numbers - thank you!
